COMMUNITY SERVICES
Funded by the local communities, school districts and public libraries, bookmobiles visit nine communities throughout the county. The bookmobile is stocked with a wide variety of materials for children and adults, and provides many of the same library services available in a stationary building.
Requesting service for your community
We are always ready to add community stops to our schedule. We provide service as a branch of a local library or as the local library in communities without direct library service. There is a fee for service, with the cost directly related to the length of the stop. For further information, please call us at 412-321-1853.
Funding for Community bookmobile services through ACLA Mobile Library Services is provided by:
Public Libraries:
Communities and School Districts:
- Ben Avon, the Friends of the Ben Avon Bookmobile, and resident contributions
Individual Contributions:
- South Allegheny 2024 funding generously provided by Dan and Linda Matta
